Refund Policy

Try before you buy

DissectMac has a free version with no time limit. It maps your whole drive, finds large files, searches your Mac and shows live system stats, so you can see exactly what DissectMac finds on your Mac before you pay for anything. We recommend using it before buying Pro.

Pro purchases are final

DissectMac Pro is a one-time purchase of a licence key, delivered by email immediately after payment. Because the licence is delivered straight away and cannot be returned, Pro purchases are final and we do not offer a general money-back period.

When we will refund you

We will put things right, including a full refund where appropriate, if:

• Pro does not work on your Mac and we cannot fix it.
• You were charged more than once for the same licence.
• You were charged in error, or without authorisation.
• The law where you live gives you a right to a refund (see below).

Email [email protected] with your order ID or the email address you bought with, and tell us what went wrong. A person replies.

Your statutory rights

Nothing in this policy affects rights you have under the consumer law where you live. In some countries, including the EU and the UK, you have a statutory right to cancel a purchase of digital content within a set period, unless you agreed to immediate delivery and gave up that right at checkout. If you believe you have such a right, email us and we will honour it.

Processing time

Approved refunds are processed within 3–5 business days and returned to your original payment method by our payment provider, Dodo Payments. Your bank may take longer to show it.

Purchases made before this policy

If you bought DissectMac Pro while we advertised a 15-day money-back guarantee, that guarantee still applies to your purchase. Email us and we will honour it.
